I shall be missing for a week as I am off down South for a truffling trip searching for treasures. My listings will be back next week with my latest finds.This is a beautiful panel of antique French printed cotton from the late 1800s.This is a wonderful period textile that is still all strong and perfect for any decorative projects.The colours are all still very beautiful in muted soft pinks, old cream, pale blues and ochres.The design carries pink shaded borders with old cream borders that carry rose garlands tied with ribbons and urns filled with blooms.I have given it a quick launder and there are no serious marks. I can find just one tiny darn about 1cm x 1cm and this is commensurate with age and does not detract.The panel measures:Length 1 metre 16cmsWidth 79cmsThe bottom edge and two long side hems are hemmed.PANEL 1.Fabulous and genuine period textile.I have one more panel from the same location listed in my other items.51cms x 68cmsAll the items in my listings, unless described otherwise, are either vintage or antique. They have all had a \'past\' life, a history to tell - and this inevitably affects their condition through use and handling.
