SUPER RARE Vintage 1958HOLT HOWARD PIXIE WARE SET 4 INDIVIDUAL STACKING SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS With Original WOODEN CARRYING RACK Description
- From a local private collection I am pleased to offer three (3) individual stacking salt and peppers made by Holt Howard, Japan
- These are the very collectible PIXIE WARE line instantly recognizable from the brightly colored stripes, a design first produced in 1958
- What I have available are two salt (in yellow and red) and two peppers (in blue and green)
- Complete with the wooden carrying rack with knob ended ties
- Doughnut shaped with two indentations on each side to accomodate the carrier
- The holes on the top signify which is which (ie S or P)
- These are all in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration
- No other paint loss or signs of wear except some rough edges which were not fully glazed at the factory
- Each measures 2 3/8\" wide and 1 3/8\" tall
- They are all marked JAPAN in black but are definitely vintage Holt Howard and not an imitation or re-issue
- All have their stoppers
- Please ignore all white spots on photos caused by camera flash
