Being offered is a Superb Antique 18th Century Meissen Hand-Painted Potpourri Covered Vase / Urn ~ Dot Period Blue Crossed-Swords With Dot Between The Crosspieces Used From About (1763-1774). The vase / urn has a blue basket weave design embellished with gold laurel bands & salmon colored ribbons. The decor features two large cartouches that depict magnificent harborside scenes which are outlined in gold flowers, scrolls and ribbons. This piece is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with no chips, cracks, crazing or restorations EXCEPT for the laurel wreath finial which has been poorly restored, a small part of the ribbon attached to the finial is also missing (see picture 12). There are no signs of wear to the vase or lid just some light loss of gold found on the laurel band of the lid only. It stands 11\" tall, 6 3/8\" in length handle to handle.
