This is a superb architectural cast iron door stop in the form of a cat of which:
During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the 19th century.
Dates about c1890s.
Of a European origin.
A door stop in the form of a cat with the wonderful design.
cast base with the heraldic decoration centrally.
Cold painted.
It has an overall height of about 8.5inches.
Max dia across the base of about 6.75inches.
Max depth of about 3inches.
Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to any major blemish except ageing with loss of colour.
