This is a superb gothic wooden oak panel with the mounted carving centrally of the males head with leaves, scrolls & other carvings of which:

During our research we have been informed itcertainly dates from the 19th century.

Dates about c1880s.

Of a black forest origin.

One of two similar panels.

A wooden oak panel with:

the mounted gothic carving centrally of the males head in the circular carving with the intricate detailing.

Relief carvings to the panel of leaves, scroll & other.

A gothic relief carved panel which has an overall sizeof about 25.25 x 13.5inches.

Max depth of about 4inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall conditionis excellent and is not subject to:

any major blemish except:

rubbing to the central head.
