This isa quite superb Meissen male figure with the bagpipes, sheep and recumbent dog to base ofwhich:

During our research we have been informed it certainlydates from the 19th century.

Dates about c1880s.

Unmarked but not unusual but we have been informed it is of a Meissen origin.

Of a German origin.

Porcelain, china.

Intricate overall facial detailing.

Wonderful dress attire.

Well coloured.

Male figure portrayed with the bagpipes.

To the base: the recumbent dog with its quite superb portrayal and decoration.

A sheep, again with the superb portrayal.

Intricate flowers & leaves to the base.

A bough to the rear with leaf decoration.

Ithasan overall height of about 9.25inches.

Max overall dia of about 4inches.

Base size of about 4 x 3inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to:

any major blemishes except

minor nibbles to the leaves to the base and rear.
