Superb 19thc barometer with oak carved Black Forest surround/case.

Excellent attention to detail on this oak carved Black Forest case with the head of a fox and a dog to either side of the barometer. The oak carved case has carved oak leaves and a pair of rifle butts. Thermometer above barometer.

Please note: The barometer and thermometer are being sold as seen with the working order of both untested.

Measures 21.5\" height x 10.5\" max width.

Condition of carved case/surround overall is excellent and age commensurate with some small areas of damage to the carved work: small piece of wood broken of at bottom of case and there is a section of wood broken off above on of the rifle butts. As mentioned above the working order of barometer and thermometer untested/unknown. The glass has surface roughness to it and some age marking to the brass surround. All as per images.
