From an estate sale. I believe this is from the Romantic era. Fabulous antique 19th century huge heavy Victorian bracelet with 5 carved reticulated filigree panels that have 5 very large faceted cut glass? marquise amethysts and smaller round cut amethyst on each side of the marquise. Each of the 4 corners of each panel have a cloisonne style enameled flower with 2 leaves. Each panel is also carved and etched on the underside. Including clasp, the bracelet measures approximately 7 1/4\" in length and approximately 1 1/2\" in width. Total weight is 72.7 grams. I think the stones are glass, but would not be surprised to hear they were genuine. I looped them and saw no air bubbles. No missing or cracked stones. Bracelet definitely needs to be cleaned. I don\'t see any marks or a brand on it. Latch needs to be fixed, it is loose. I don\'t know what the metal is, but pictures made it look golder than it is. Wonderful estate sale find. This will be mailed in a box, not an envelope or padded mailer that is subject to tear or damage.
