Description

A superb large antique 19th century Japanese Arita blue and whiteporcelain charger.

Painted with dragons chasing a flaming pearl, with a mon in the centre. Geometric pattern to the rim on the top and bottom. With flaming pearls on the bottom.

Chenghua mark on the base.

Condition

In good condition with one light star-shaped hairline on the bottom and a couple of nicks to the footrim.

Size

39.75cm diameter. 7.5cm height.
