Exquisite ChineseJade Libation Cup of sensitive and exceptionally tasteful form. Hand carved in the shape of an upward facing lotus with a deeply hollowed interior, gently flaring at the rim,and slender veins to the exterior. Very thin walls reveal great care and master craftsmanship with clean and pure design.
The cup displays a handsomepatina, the interior bearing traces of calcification.Age related wear adds so much to the character of this magnificentpiece with scatteredchips from long ago, the marks of centuries of use and appreciation.Sublime pale celadon coloration with subtle amber veining. This piece exhibits a gentle presence of great elegance.
With a fine fitted wooden stand, the cup measures approximately 3 1/8\" high and 4\" across.
