A lovely qualityantique Victorian English, solid 9 carat gold (tests) ornate ring; beautifully made, with ribbed tapered band, fancy shoulders and millegrain edging, and set with wonderful foiled garnets and seed pearls.It\'s ornately engraved with the initials \'EC\' to the back of the head.It dates from around1870/80 and isinvery good, fully wearablecondition, with an old resizing to the back of the band, and a gold strengthener to the inner circumference - of no consequence. It weighs2.9grams, measures9 mm across the head and its ring size is 8 ¼ US / Q UK - not easily resized.
