Description: This is a good and early antique Gustav Stickley large armchair from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a good original finish. It has excellent, bulky form with wide, shaped arms with pinned through tenons at the front and pinned corbels underneath. There are wide horizontal back slats and a scooped crest rail. The seat has been recovered with high quality black leather with brass tacks all around. It is signed under the arm with an early boxed decal as pictured. This is a very decorative and collectible piece in unusually good condition.Size: H - 41\" W - 29\" D - 24\" Floor to Seat - 18\"
