French*Antique*Manoir is acharming antique french brocante and antiques from 18th century untill the Art Déco period which come essentially from the Loire Valley, known for its history, wine, family property, manoir and castles.
This wonderful batch of antique French château curtain rings dates from 1880\'s. They are heavywheight Ormulu ring of superb quality.The castings are excellent.
The rings are guilt ormulu and the front scroll is superbly detailed. Each carries delicateroses and leaf. I have left them just as i found them.The gilt is gently timeworn as it should be after 130 years and the look is sheer faded decandence and grandeur.
They are solid bronze and weigh1.76 lbswhich is an indication of their quality. There are 10 in the batch all good and strong and each ring has a diameter of 1.96\" and the leaves and roses extend 4.72\" downwards.
They are excellent when placed with plain curtain rings too far extra support.Perfect period detailing for any curtains or tapestry display.Charming piece from the French past castle, will fit perfectly for any château inspired home!
