Description Asuperbearly pair of English antique 18th Century Georgiansolid sterling silversugarnips by the silversmith Thomas Wallisand dating from around 1770.Excellent quality genuine 240+ year old examples with beautiful ornate arms and ring handles and with attractive shell bowls. Engraved with a lovelysmall early periodmonogram.

MeasurementsMeasure approx.4.55 inches (115mm)in length.

Date English antique18th Century Georgiansolid sterling silver.Hallmarked with a early clear lion passant/gardant sterling silver stamp on both handles. No dateletter, quite normal on these early examples as they were never marked. Datingto around 1770.

ConditionLovely clean condition, no splits or cracks, no obvious solder repairs and no knocks or dents, a fine pair and look very little used. Superb quality genuine 18th century examples.
