We are pleased tooffer for salethis French sterling silver 20 piece set

of antique luncheon / second course forks and spoons.

This set is suitable and acceptable as a conventional 2 piece dinner set for 10

in today\'s standards.

The set consists of 10 forks and 10 matching spoons.The forks and spoons aredesigned

in the French Neo Classical\"swirls and scrolls\" pattern. This elegantpattern will blend

nicely with most other tableware.

The original set was purchased in France by a family that subsequently immigrated to

America. They imported additional matching pieces over the years and deleted worn

forks and spoons. The remaining set of 20 pieces are outstanding in their original condition.

14 pieces bear the Minerva, First Standard, assay mark that denotes .950 sterling silver

content. 6 pieces bearthe Head of Mercury export mark that also denotes, First Standard,

.950 sterling silver content.

10 pieces bear the maker\'s mark formaster Paris silversmiths Maillard Freres and 10 pieces

bear the Societe Parisienne Orfevrerie (SPO) maker\'s mark. Certain pieces of the set also bear

the French Bigorne mark that assures authenticity and the .950 sterling silvercontent. These details

will be transparent to family and guests.

The length of each luncheon fork and spoonis approximately 7.5\" inches.

The total weight of the 20 pieces is 992 grams.

The fork tines are full length. The set is in excellent condition with micro scratches

from normal handling. There are NO monograms.
