Description A superbvery large, heavyEnglish antiqueArt Decosolid sterling silver cigarette or cigar humidor box by the silversmiths Walker & Hall, Sheffield, and with full English silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1933.Excellent quality genuine 84 year old sterling silver example, a very impressiveuncommon largersize, with a hinged silver lid and decorated with nice stylised Art Deco engine-turned engraving and has attractive flared protruding lid and base rims. Inside it has its original box-wood lined interior, including the removable divider and it has its original red bakelite covering on the base. Fineheavybox, weighs a substantial approx.887 grams, including wood lining. Very handsome silver box, hard to find in this size.

Has the makers name in full stamped on the base along with the pattern/design number 63360.ConditionLovely condition,with no splits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs andno nasty knocks ordents either,a nice clean example, especially considering its huge size!The hinged lid works perfectly, opening and closing tightly and securely and the interior box-wood liningis all original and ingreat condition, no splits or cracks, just 1 little edge strip missing under the lid, really nothing much and very easily replaced. Still includes the removable divider. Substantial heavy weight and made from a good heavy silver gauge. No personal engravings, a presentation inscription has been erased from the front at one time, definitely not readable.
