DescriptionA superb largeheavy Englishantique solid sterling silver cigaretteboxby the famous silversmithsand the Crown Jewellers Garrard & CoLtd,with its original undamaged cedar wood lined interior and with full English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1961.Excellent quality genuine sterling silver box,impressivesize, witha hinged silver lid and decorated with attractive engine-turned engraving. Hasa protruding silver edge lip on the front to assist opening and has its original brown leatherette covering on the underside of the base.Fine heavy box, weighs approx.535 grams, including wood lining. No engraved inscriptions and nothing erased.

Measurements Great size, measures approx.6.55inches (166mm) x4 inches (102mm) and is2 inches (51mm) deep.DateEnglishantique solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1961 (date letter \"M\"). Lovely clear struck hallmark stamps and with further matching marks on the lid. Stamped with the makers name in full on the base.Maker Silversmiths initials \"G & Co Ld\", (Garrard & Co Ltd).ConditionExcellent condition, no splits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs, no wear holesandno nasty knocks ordents,just acouple of tiny little shallow surface bruises, really nothing, and a beautiful silver box.
