This is a superb Minton majolica two handle cup with the leaf and berry decoration over a cobalt blue ofwhich:

During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the mid 19th century.

Dates about c1860s.

Underneath the Minton of England logo with incised numbers & other Minton marks.

Of an english origin.

Majolica two handled cup on a circular foot.

Decorated with leaves & berries on a cobalt blue.

Handles on either side moulded as branches.

Ochre with beaded decoration.

majolica pink internally.

It has an overall height of about 4inches.

It has an overall max dia inc. decorative handles of about 5inches.

Dia to the open top of about 3.75inches.

Base dia of about 2inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to:

any major blemishes.
