Superb mid 19thc gothicmahogany panel with carved lion and gargoyles. Dating c.1860.

Excellent attention to detail on this gothic panel with a plethora of stunning carvings. To the top is a lion with his front paws draped over carvings below. Ornate swags with two gargoyles below and with intricately carved oak leaves. All carving done in fine relief. A really decorative and beautifully carved gothic panel.

Panel measures 20.75\" x 16.75\".

Condition is excellent and age commensurate. All as per images.
