This is really amazing! Absolutely gorgeous original 1999 Frank Frazetta published watercolor painting of a hungry skinny African Native grabbing a classic Frazetta huge pig! This piece was published in the great Frazetta African Hunter Portfolio. The photo came out OK on this, but the original is much sharper, no way can the photo fully capture the subtle tonal variations and details Frazetta achieved on this piece. If you have the African Hunter portfolio a good reproduction can be seen there. Amazing, detailed , superb, and subtle tones, a genius juxtaposition of a cartoony type subject, yet done in a realistic manner. Frazetta was an artistic genius. The piece is beautifully signed lower left hand side, Frazetta 1999. Really the work of a genius. Very funny, humourous and superbly delineated! The tones and details are just amazing. Frazetta really has no peer at this sort of thing. The piece is painted on a heavy very thick board, and is in excellent condition. The piece has some tape residue on reverse at the extreme outside edges, probably from where the piece had been framed and matted. Overall in excellent condition. This would frame and display beautifully. The size of the artwork is 9.5\" by 10\". Winning buyer pays $30.00 Express Overnight Mail, more foreign.
