This isa superb pair of miniature Locke & Co, Worcester with the signed hand painted decoration of birds of which:
During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the 19th century.
Date about c1890s.
Underneath each: the Locke & Co, Worcester logos.
Of an English origin.
a pair of miniature blush vases.
Each has hand painted decoration of:
a bullfinch, signed: Evans.
a pheasant, signed: W. Stinton.
a pair of wonderful shaped miniature blush vases.
Decorative handles to the sides.
Each hasan overall height of about 2.5inches.
Max overall dias of about 2inches.
Max dias to the tops of about 1.25inches.
Base dias of about 1.25inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to both is excellent and both are not subject to:
any major blemishes except:
one has a minor chip to the inner rim at the top.
