Description A beautifulearly pair oforiginal English antique Georgian solid sterling silversewing scissors,complete with silver blade case,datingfrom around 1825and in lovely condition.Excellent quality genuine 185+ year old antique examples, ornately all-over decorated and they have niceold Sheffield steel blades which are still very sharp and cut beautifully. They come with a fine period solid silver blade case, also beautifully decorated and fit over the blades perfectly. There are no added engraved monograms or initials.

Measurements They measure approx4 inches (102mm) in length end to end, x 1.95 inches (47mm) wide.

DateEnglish antique early 19th Century Georgian solid sterling silver, unmarked as is quite normal with these early silver sewing items but 100% guaranteed English antique solid silver and dating from around 1820-1830.ConditionLovely condition, no splits or cracks to the scissors, no solder repairs, no wear holes and no nasty knocks or dents.They are in perfect working order and the sharp steel blades are full length and cut very well. The silver blade case is also ingreat condition and has no splits or repairs.Possibly not original, slightly different decoration, very hard to spot,but definitely identical Georgian period and the blades fit perfectly.Superb quality examples and there are no added engraved monograms or initials.
