This is asuperb pair of 19th centurygothic mahogany panels with carved gargoyles and with acanthus vine winding its way around the panel. The panels have domed tops.

Excellent attention to detail with carving in relief. The gargoyles face each other with mouths open. Beautiful gilt detail further decorates this lovely relief carving.

Measures some 5.75\" x 25.25\".

Condition is excellent and age commensurate with one panel having a crack acrosscentre as images show. All as per images.
