SUPERB QUALITY 1940s VINTAGE 18K YELLOW GOLD AQUAMARINE+DIAMOND RING~SIZE 5~7.8g:

Here for sale is a heavy, well-made, vintage solid 18k gold ringm, with a beautiful natural aquamarine and first class diamonds.

This ring really has to be viewed as a whole...the aquamarine is obviously the focus and the centerpiece, but the mounting should not be overlooked--it\'s really nice quality, as are the diamonds. The photos don\'t do it justice.

The aquamarine is LUMINOUS, with the color unmistakeably attributed to fine aquamarine. It is long, elegant and marquise-shaped--not a standard size...it measures 12.75 x 5.6 x 4 mm deep, and is approximately 1.25 carat in size. It is in excellent condition, with no damage.

Showcasing the aqua, are fiery white diamonds, all hand-set, on all four sides. At the 3 and 9 o\'clock positions, are fleur de lis shapes in white gold, with four diamonds in each section, approximately 2 mm (.03 ct each). At 12 and 6 o\'clock, 7 more diamonds are set in each section (1.5 to 2 mm). These diamonds are all extremely bright and fiery, graded as F/G color and VS clarity, by our experienced estate jeweler. Diamond weight is approximately .60 ctw, and total gem weight in the ring is about 1.85 ctw. Quality in this ring was spared NOWHERE...as you look at the beautiful heavy 18k gold mount, as well.

The face measures 3/4" top to bottom. There are no visible hallmarks but the ring tests postive for 18k gold, guaranteed. It weighs a hefty 7.8 grams. It is a size 5, and can be sized by a competent jeweler. It is in very fine pre-owned condition, with slight wear to the gold, as would be expected from a vintage ring. It would be perfect with a buff and polish.
