Description A beautifulrare antique late Victoriansolid sterling silvernovelty snuff box in the form of a \"table\", by the silversmith Theodor Hartmann, in superb conditionand with full English silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1901. Excellent quality box and a genuine 112 year old example. Stunning shape, designed like a games table, with ahinged silver lid and resting on 4 silver cabriole legs. Lovely engraved scroll decoration with a fine embossed scenic lid. Has a very clean interior and there areno added personal engraved inscriptions, monograms or crests.

Measurements Measures approx 1.95 inches (49mm) x 1.25 inches (32mm) and stands 1.95 inches (49mm) in height.Date AntiqueVictorian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1901(date letter \"i\").Excellent clear struck matchinghallmarks on box and lid. Includes the extra letter \"F\" stamp denoted imported silver. Also has a further set of Dutch silver hallmarks too.
MakerSilversmiths initials \"T.H\", (Theodor Hartmann).ConditionSuperbclean condition,nosplits or cracks, no repairs and no knocks or dents either, a really beautiful example. The silver lid hinge worksperfectly and the lid opens and closes tightly. Very clean interior, and the 4 silver cabriole legs are undamaged. With no added personal engraved inscriptions.
