This sale is for a c1890 Victorian 60\" long muff / muffler guard chain. It is solid 9ct rose gold and is marked 9C in 2 places - on the dog clip and on the chain near the clip. (both marks are visible in the 3rd photo) The chain style is rare - known as a faceted belcher link - it has a tighter, smoother appearance than a regular belcher link chain. It weighs 30.1 grams (I am not selling this for scrap - please do not offer me the scrap price!) I inspected this chain carefully - it survives in remarkable condition - no damage or repairs. Condition is Superb!
