This is a prestige format graphic novel, also known as perfect-bound or square-bound. Originating in the Copper and Modern Ages of comics, these graphic novels tell original stories created specifically for this long-form narrative style, without the imposed page limit of a monthly series. At times they feature new characters, though more often than not, they tell canonical stories outside an established character\'s main series (Spider-Man, Batman, etc.). Often, a series of two or more prestige format issues would encompass a larger story arc. Unless otherwise noted (i.e. #1 of 2, #2 of 3, etc.), the item you are viewing is a complete story, told start-to-finish without a continuation in the next issue.
