Please scroll down below description for more pictures.This adorable antique French miniature photo or picture frame dates from the late 1800s/early 1900s.
In gilded repousse tole it is a warm old gold with the passage of time and I have left it just as I found it. It would polish if required.
A scrolled confection it carries flower blooms, acanthus leaf curls and plume like scrolls.
The original glass is all intact as is the backing plate and hanging ring.
Height 10cms
Max diameter 7cms
A genuine period frame for any period vieille maison.
