Well-cared for by its previous owner and only occasionally fished, this smooth loading, lightweight, fast-action fly rod naturally shows a few nominal signs of trace cosmetic wear and tear in the expected high traffic areas that one would expect in a rod that\'s seen rare, infrequent use.As evidenced in the photos, the cork grip display a modest bit of light staining from previous handling, but remains overall, pleasantly free from any major chips, gouges, or excessive missing fill.While perhaps not as handsome as it first was new, the sturdy up-locking reel seat looks great and still functions perfectly too.A close inspection of the rod\'s rich glossy blank from tip to butt reveals the usual small scuffs and scrapes in the expected places, but no signs of catastrophic abuse like deep scratches, scores, or penetrating nicks were found that would in any way hint the rod\'s original strength or integrity as compromised.A close review of the rod\'s guides reveals no trace of tarnish, rust, or oxidization present, and no grooving, deformation, or misalignment of any kind was found.A quick test-assembly and deep flexing of the rod confirms all ferrules to still fit snugly, with no wobble, twisting, looseness or other signs of obvious distress recognized, and the manufacturer\'s divided rod case that accompanies is, much like the rod it protects, in excellent lightly used condition as well.A wise and reliable choice for anglers looking target freshwater species like trout, bass, carp, light salmon/steelhead and more, the used Sage FLi Series 9\'0\" 4pc 6wt Fly Rod being offered here is certain please.
