Sage Z-AXIS 9 foot 4 piece 5 weight, used but in great condition: The cork handle has some wear but it is clean and no stains. The rod blank and the guides are in excellent condition.
Sage Z-Axis (for me) is the rod by which all other Sage rods are measured. The Z-Axis 9′ 5 weight was the first high end rod I ever owned; which I still fish to this day. It is not an “old” or “classic” rod by any means; but it is not a “new” design either. It is the rod that brought me into the realm of fast action trout fishing sticks. This is the best rod I have ever own.
Some would ask why are you selling this rod. In short I am in heart failure.
