This week I am focusing on the artist Romas Kukalis. . . with an offering of final and preliminary paintings that I have never listed for sale before - either here on or on my website! Romas - at my urging - has recently taken stock of the artworks that remain in his studio and closets, and to his surprise discovered he has over 70 artworks stored there! So he\'s tasked me with the job of helping him to reduce the volume! To achieve his goal, he\'s allowing me to offer this week\'s selection at prices that will tempt you to offer!

All are original artworks, prelims or final illustrations used on the covers of books.This is the original preliminary painting created by Romas for the novel by Duncan McGeary, published by Tower - Belmont Books, 1980. Possibly the earliest prelim Romas has left, this is one that perfectly captures the adventurous novels of the day! Handsome and colorful, this is one of those preliminary paintings that is almost better than the final painting in that regard - a small gem done in oils on board, 11\" x 7\" and I believe it comes framed! Or so says my notes! Plus of course signed by the artist.
