Very nice Salz, Earlier model not often found. Nice Writer, Also a rare collectible. Full size pen at just under 7\" posted. GREAT Nib! Medium point with decent flex, The pen body is crack free. Gold filled trim. The pen has a new ink sac. :-)

Cap threads on perfectly & posts well, The lever is in perfect working order with good spring to it, marked with a very clear \"SALZ SB\". This pen is very Complete and functional, The Factory imprint is VERY clear and readable, vertical line Chasing is crisp. no personalization. Smooth shiny ends. There is some swelling near the lever, other wise a very straight pen, no scratches, Clean.

Very nice pocket clip , some patina, But the contrast between the silver \"SALZ\" & the gold filled clip looks great, Pocket clip is marked \"PAT APR 14, 1925\"

VERY NICE NIB , marked \"SALZ\" #4 NIB, 14K (see close up photos please) with sufficient remaining iridium, Very smooth writing even on cheep copy paper, I just wrote a page and it glides on cheap staples copy paper & it is a pleasure to write with, I very much considered keeping it, but I as much as I would like, can\'t keep them all :-) . And Nice Flex also, (NOT a wet noodle) you will still have control for every day writing, But when writing you will find your self flexing with out trying , goes from a medium point to a wide line as shown with medium pressure, it will provide excellent line variation & expression, Very nice shading also nicely formed on the underside also & is a pleasure to write with. Pen is ready for letter writing.... good Signature pen!

The Paper is from a Rhodia Dotpad No. 16, the dots are 5mm apart to help you gauge the flex width.

The pen is approx 5 & 5/16\" capped, and just under 7\" posted.
