Those whom follow my sales know I search out and find the best examples of pre-owned / vintage items I can of everything I sell. Here we have 2 Christmas / Holiday pins, obviously vintage, original, not perfect.
The one that is marked stamped \"Roma\" is the tree/poinsettia. This brooch measures approx 1 3/4 x 1 1/4\" and is gold toned or plated metal with original enamel of red and green. It also has red and silver beads set into it to add to the holiday feel of the pin. Unfortunately is is missed one of the beads. Still, it is a nice original piece of antique costume jewelry.
Next we have Santa whom measures approx 1 3/4\" x 1 1/2\" and is also gold toned or plated metal with original enamel of red, white and black? or maybe make that dark blue? It\'s hard for my tired old eyes to tell exactly. Santa also has lots of vintage crystal rhinestones, 4 missing. Two from his cap and two from the bottom hemline of his coat. Luckily the greenish blue or teal one that makes his eye is there and looks great still.
Both are excellent pieces just as they are for the collector... OR they are both great pieces for the amateur jeweler who would want to restore them to their original luster to enjoy for the next couple generations of their family. Either way here are a couple awesome collectibles for the enthusiastic people out there!
