Brunette haired Sasha is a lovely and pensive faced doll that was manufactured in England by Frido/Trendon/Sasha Dolls Ltd. circa 1975-86, I believe. Characteristics that support this observation are her \"ring neck assembly,\" the stringing of her arms with white cord and her legs with brown parachute cord, and the fact that she still wears her silver Sasha Serie medallion with script on both sides. Sasha\'s lovely face is detailed with brown brows, brown eyes with light blue eye shadow, black liner with an amber lower \"shadow,\" and pale pinkish lips. Her brunette hair, though a bit shaggy, is long and somewhat shiny. I am wondering if her hair has been trimmed. Though thick, her hair feels dry and may need washing to bring out further shine and resiliency. When I gently tug at her hair, strands do not fall out. Sasha\'s stringing is loose, so tightening may be in order. Her joints sustains some gritty powder-like substance that washes away easily, but does not appear to deter from her sturdy vinyl body. The middle of her torso sustains a few indented lines, most likely caused by a posing stand. Sasha may need a gentle bath! I am including a pair of socks and a ribbed knit undershirt, along with a thicker pair of ribbed knit panties which may belong to a Sasha baby. Her socks suffer spotting and bluing from her original shoes\' snaps. Shoes are not included. These are the pieces of clothing that she came with. Though she may need cleaning and restoration, brunette Sasha remains a pensive and appealing doll.
