\"After The Victory (Prophecy of Isiah)\" lithograph by Saul Rabino (1892-1969). Among the various iconography , bible quotes in English & Hebrew, etc the central figure is literally turning weapons into farm tools. Image size is 16\" by 9.5\" on an 17 1/2\" by 11 1/4\" sheet. Signed and titled in pencil by the artist. Born in Odessa, Russia on July 8, 1892. The prominent schools he attended were Russian Imperial Art School and Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. He immigrated to the United States in 1922 and settled in California. He worked for the Los Angeles Federal Art Project, and as a prolific worker he produced about forty images on subjects like the WPA workers, chess players, musicians, and the unemployed. He was commissioned to work on an oil painting called, Moses—Hebrew Prophets for the Hebrew Sheltering Home auditorium in 1937. Rabino exhibited at New York World’s Fair in 1939. This is one of several vintage prints I\'m offering and will gladly combine shipping on multiple purchases.
