Beautiful and very elegant solid silver pendant
possibly dating from the 1940’s to 1950’s.This has a gorgeous design, with an ancient motif featuring an
intricately entwined Ouroborus décor of a snake or dragon.The body is finely detailed with four different patterns,
perfectly enhancing the three dimensional effect.The Ouroboros symbol (which first appeared in a text discovered in the tomb
of Tutankhamun dating from the 14th century BC) represents the perpetual,cyclic
renewal of life, the concept of eternity, death and rebirth, leading to immortality.A seldom offered and eye catching piece of Scandinavian jewellery
