Thissterling silver clad steel core thimble is marked PAT (patent), and \"8\"(English size) on the faceted band. It\'s in the hard to find Starpattern andis about anAmericansize 8/9 (15.3 mm diameter opening).

Thetop has a couple of small dents, but the overall condition is nice withno holes or repairs. One is shownon p. 4 of IdentifyingSteel Cored Thimbles byDiane Pelham Burn
