This item is a right handedantique hickory shafted 34\" (measured along the axis of the shaft)putter.Marked Banner on the back and Pendulum Putter in the corner of the face. Very unusual center shafted steel head putter. Interesting waffle type face scoring. Patented by Arthur Kraeuter (Kroydon) in 1921. Made by Kroydon and seen in their Kroydon and Banner lines and sometimes seen offered by B Altman& Co. The head is clean and not all rusted or pitted.Theheadhas very few of the expectedplay nicks and dings.Please look atthe many zoom pictures to get a better idea of condition.The shaft isan oldhickory. It is straight, has no cracks and is tightat the hosel.The grip is an oldlong leather wrap that is in very goodvintage condition. Hard to find Patent putter.
