Up for sale is a 1993 Schmid wooden music box that plays \"Camptown Race\". It measures 9.5\" in length and 7.5 inches tall and rocks back and forth as the music plays. This is accomplished by a small metal rod at the bottom of the horse. The jockey is poseable and the horse has the number 7 on its saddle when the jockey is moved. The horseshoe and rose on both sides of the horse gives me the impression it represents the Kentucky Derby (Run for the Roses), but I could not confirm that rumor. I found only one other like it that is no longer available on Etsy. so it could be rare or my Google-fu needs more focus. :) Appears to have some wear, but not too bad overall.
