Reissue of the original Revell model released in 1968.This plastic model kit depictsthe first American AstronautEd Whiteas heconducted America\'s first spacewalkduring theGemini 4mission on June 3, 1965.Conducted in the early days of manned space flight and the \"space race\" the 1st American spacewalk was sosignificantthat the United States Postal Service printed five cent stamps to commemorate theevent.Included with the plastic model kit are two of the the mint brand new spacewalk stamps.Features:The astronaut appears to \"float in space\" on umbilical line.The maneuvering unit, space suit, chest pack and helmet with gold tinted face-plate are all carefully and authentically detailed.Capsule hatch section is used as an attractive display base.The model has official NASA markings.Completed figure is 6\" long.An all plastic model kit that requires assembly and finishing.
