SESSIONS VINTAGE MANTEL CLOCK. These clocks are sometimes referred to as camel back or hump back clocks.
SIZE -

The clock is approximately: 21 inches long, 10 inches high and 5 inches wide.

CHIME -

Clock makes a very nice deep chime sound, when I gently lift the hammer and let it strike the chime.

KEY -

This clock is the type that winds up with a key. I have a key, I am not certain if this is an original key. I am not able to wind this clock, I am guessing it has been wound too tight.

PENDULUM -

Clock comes with a pendulumwith an \"S\" on it. I believe this is for Sessions. I am not certain if this is the originalpendulum.

ITEM CONDITION -

Written on bottom: O\'Leary 8 Nov 86 Indpls (means Indianapolis).

Due to age: face of clock has crazing (fine lines and larger than fine lines).

Also due to age, the wood body (unknown wood type) has: scratches, dings, dust, chips, small areas of veneer missing, wood discolored in places and teeny-tiny dots of white paint on the clock (I am guessing someone painted a room and did not cover the clock).

Clock interior has areas of dust, dirt, rust and patina.

I do not see these issues as negative, rather, as adding character, history and charm to this old clock.

I was not aggressive regarding cleaning, to preserve the character, history and charm. For example, I did not polish face frame, so patina would remain.

Age of clock unknown.
