They are marked Sam’s in the front
There are some Chinese charactersand markings on the bottom – no idea of the meaning-
They are open in the back and can beused as a small planter or incense burner.
Each measures6\"H x 5\" L x 3.25\"W.
One has an open mouth and the otherdoes not.
Condition excellent condition noissues to report no cracks or chips or crazing.
Supposed to wardoff evil and misfortune. The claws, teeth, and eyes represent power. Alwaysshown in pairs outside Chines imperial sites.
