Set of (3) vintage Japanese hand-painted bisque-ceramic Hakata Dolls HD5200 & 01 Geishas in two poses. Excellent condition and clean.
This set consists of one HD 5200 and one HD 5201, in excellent condition, plus one HD 5201 with an obvious repair of the neck. I have factored this damaged piece out of the pricing.
The HD 5200 pose measures 5 1/2 inches high by 3 1/4 inches wide. The HD 5201 pose measures 6 1/2 inches high with the wooden stand by 2 3/4 inches wide. Each has the original label on the bottom. Two have metal pegs and wooden stands.
No cracks, chips or stains on the undamaged pair. I find three pencil-tip size grayish surface marks on the back of the HD 5200 pose (see PIC # 5). The bisque white area,of the lower back,has a very faint hair's-width staggered rub.
This vibrantly colored and well care for pair is clean, bright and ready for display.
