Antique set of 4 gold iridescent O & EG Royal Austria stem bowls (dessert, sherbert). The bowls are thin and the stem is sturdy. Inside and outside (minus the bottom) are a shiny gold and look like art glass.The bottom is stamped with the green wreath with the words “Royal” within the wreath, “O&EG” above and “Austria” beneath and signed. The mark on this set was used by Oscar and Edgar Gutherz of Altrolau, Bohemia (now Stara Role, Czech Republic) from 1899 to 1918.The set is in very good shape. No chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. There is a little wear but nothing major. They are 100 years old. It is rare to find a large antique set of this quality. Great gift!Approximate Measurements: 8 cm tall; Base 5cm. Across top of bowl is 10 cm; depth of bowl 4 cm.
