A wonderful grouping of four (4) Fornasetti lithographs from his Soli e Lune(Sun & Moon) series. For Fornasetti collectors, you are very aware of the history of this versatile artist, sculptor and designer. For those who wish to learn more, there is a wealth of info online for you to peruse. Suffice it to say, Piero Fornasetti is one of the most desirable Mid Century artists amongst collectors.
This rare, limited edition was published by Graphique de France in 1993. (We include a photo from another listing to show the info but have left backing paper intact so as not to damage the set.) The two larger prints, framed, measure 12\" x 12\", the smaller are 11\" x 9\". Please note that any flaws to photos are simply the glare of the glass, the art is much morebeautifulin person.
The prints are beautifully displayed in gold tone frames, acid-free, double-matted, with a paper backing and hangers. There are a couple of small rubs and one tiny ding to a frame but it is very minimal and hard to see, plus easily fixed with a quick rub of stain pen or filler.
