Our company manufactures wood model kits of historic ship models. We found a cache of nylon thread that was previously used in many of our model ship kits to replicate the running rigging of old sailing ships. Sadly, a few years ago we changed the color schemes of the rigging rope and can no longer use this color ... although the quality surpasses our standards.
We currently have 66 spools, each of which contains 3 oz. of thread. We believe the diameter is0.1mm (.004 inch)but cannot be certain. Check the photos carefully.The size of each spool is 4\" tall and 2\" in diameter.Total length per spool we believe to be 1000 yds.
We are saleing six spools at a time. However, if the winning buyer of the sale wishes to buy additional spools we will sell as many as the buyer wants (up to 69 more) at the same price as the winning offer plus $1 shipping for each additional spool.
