Unusual Unique Shape Is Narrowest In The Middle Of The Glasses, And Curves Outward Towards The Rim And Base

These Glasses Are EXTREMELY Comfortable To Hold In The Hand As The Shape Conforms To The Hand Very Well

Beautiful Smoky Brown Color Is Deeper At Base Where Glass Is Thickest And Lightest Towards Top Rim

[Please note- these glasses are clear colored glass, not opaque- you can see liquid through them]

Bases Are Over .5\"Thick And Are So Richly Colored, They Almost Appear A Purplish Tone In The Light

Rims Have A Very Smooth Rolled Edge \'Lip\' Finish

NotMarked With A Maker Or Manufacturer On Bottom- From The Style And Shape, I Would Estimate Circa 1960s As To Age

Very Heavy And Sturdy, Almost Impossible To Tip And Great Quality

This size would be a \'classic\' size for an everyday beverage glass- water, juice, milk, soda, iced tea, etc- Not too small, but not enormous. Also great for mixed drinks or cocktails.

They just don\'t make glasses like this anymore- very retro in look and they will last a LONG time

No chips, nicks, cracks, scratches, rough spots or flaws. No repairs. All8 of the glasses are sparkling clean inside and out and show no signs of wear. These may well have been stored in a kitchen cabinet unused for 40 years, because they are fantastic.
