This beautiful set of 8 Rose Chintz Coffee & Tea Cups is by Johnson Brothers in England. These are Semi Porcelain. Each measures approximately 2-1/2” tall x 4-1/2” long x 3-1/2” wide. These cups are stamped Made in England on the back.

This is part of a vintage set from an estate, though I am unsure of the age of each item. Other Johnson Brithers pieces are listed separately. We do combine shipping, if you are interested.

The glossy white background perfectly complements the very elaborate floral shower in this collection of fine china. The free-styled floral display does not have any borders and the print stretches in the entirety of each piece. The main subject in watercolor has exquisite details of lines and shadows on its petals. Johnson Brothers tableware from England was made known for their semi-porcelain pieces. The semi-porcelain is as durable as ironstone yet the pieces are lightweight. They also had the characteristics of fine china. The glaze over the Johnson Brothers Rose Chintz print is able to perfectly preserve the fine details of this earthenware.

Cups are in beautiful condition as shown in the photos. There are no chips or cracks. The finish is bright with few scratches, consistent with rare use. Please see all photos. I take multiple pictures from various angles so that you can see what you are buying.
