Set of 4 Vintage 1940\'s Framed & Matted Watercolor Prints by William McK Spierer These are framed prints of watercolor paintings by William McK. Spierer, The matting color is colonial blue and the frame is white with a gold edge.
The 4 titles included in this listing are: \"Rambler Rose Lane\", \"Sunshine and Shadows\" , \"Low Tide\" , \"Main Street\"Prints are in very good condition, and measure 6.5 x 9.5 inches. Mr. Spierer was born in New York City in 1913, and is known for being a designer, teacher, painter, lecturer, and illustrator. Many of his paintings are illustrations of small town life, houses, landscape, neighborhoods, churches, etc., typical of the northeast region of the US. (1913-1965). These are wonderful pieces of art for the individual with an affinity for the quaint charm of old Provincetown, Massachusetts. Frames have a few dings in the white but are in very good shape otherwise. Original Frames 15\" x 18\" - Prints 9.5\" x 6.5\". Purchased from Closson in Cincinnati, Ohio. Backings show wear due to age - see photos. Additional photos sent upon request.
