This is a six (6) piece collection of Franklin Mint\'s \"The Great Instruments of Discovery\". The collection contains precision calibrated scientific instruments crafted in solid brass and is an official issue of National Maritime Historical Society. The collection contains:

Gunner\'s Level,
Universal Equinoctial Sundial,
The Equatorial Sundial,
The Universal Ring Dial,
Astrolabe,
Gunter\'s Quadrant.

Each piece measures approx. 5\" high and has a small wooden display stand with a nameplate on the bottom. All pieces are authentic working models.

This collection was previously owned but is VERY clean and in great condition. The craftsmanship and detailing are bar none. These are all scaled down working models of the original instruments!

Each of the six (6) instruments comes with a fold-out booklet with instruction notes. There is one (1) booklet that also comes with this set which gives some historical background on each instrument.

Collectors, teachers, scientists, historians, astrologists, or discovery instrument enthusiasts would gain to gain to own this collection. Pieces are small enough to display on a shelf or desktop, but big enough to be used for instruction or simply as a conversation starter.

Please review all pictures and ask any questions. There is one very small smudge on the bottom of the calendar side of the Gunter\'s Quadrant. I did not attempt to clean this and it is hardly noticeable.
